Because the cashmere fibre is so fine, cashmere products need special care when it comes to cleaning. Therefore below are some instructions on how to care for your precious cashmere items.
Because the cashmere fibre is so fine, cashmere products need special care when it comes to cleaning. Therefore below are some instructions on how to care for your precious cashmere items.
- Cashmere products should be hand washed at 20-30 C with special liquid soap applying gentle pressure
- do not leave in water for too long
- in order to keep the original size rinse the cashmere product in 20-30C clean water thoroughly and gently apply pressure to let the water out
- dry on the floor/flat surface
- use appropriate steamer to iron cashmere products
- do not hang your cashmere clothing as it may lose its original shape
- keep in a dry place
- as our brands "Cashwool" and "Camelwool" the water temperature needs to be lower than for 100% cashmere products at 18-20C. The rest is the same.
